"Phew," Buffy said, glad she hadn't been a total failure. And hey, it was turning out to be kind of fun. She then nodded, "Very true. This place is pretty huge and I sometimes still get lost, even though I've been here for months."
She laughed at the thought of Giles' face with this young watcher offering him to trade her for something and the giggles continued as he spoke, "I'd wear protective gear if I were you," she said, "He's practically like my dad and a bit over-protective of me." She shuddered at the thought of working in fast food again, even as an undercover job, "Oddly enough, been there, done that. I killed a demon that was feeding on some fast food employees."
After the tour, which had been thankfully successful, they found themselves back in the large main lobby. His suggestion was definitely not un-welcome and she found herself smiling before she could answer. "Actually, that sounds great. Especially the drinking part," she grinned, "And don't get me started on the Council. No offense," she quickly added, "We've had our differences. But, at least the new Council seems a little better than the old one."
She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before heading towards the doors with him. "I'm definitely game for food, drinks, and filling you in."
