Dean was clueless as usual. He was a good Watcher, or so he’d been told on occasion, but when it came to the organisational side of things, he was useless. Being in places at certain times…even finding those places could tax him. Give him training, or fighting, or even a pile of books to read and study and he was happy, but this wandering around was starting to get on his nerves. He’d been informed by letter to be here and that someone would meet him. When he’d turned up though, on time for once, there had been no-one around. Well, that wasn’t strictly true. There had been plenty of people dashing around but all of them had seemed to be too busy to help him.
So, here he was, wandering aimlessly around the huge building hoping that someone would take pity on him. So far though, there had been no takers. “Oh screw this! I’m going to find a bar,” he muttered to himself. He would come back later once he had a few beers in him to improve his mood.
He was just wondering which direction to head in to get himself out of the place when a little blonde suddenly approached him and introduced herself. At last! And the fact that she was cute could only be an added bonus. He treated her to his very best grin and waved a letter at her. “I got this…told me to come here today and someone would meet me. I’m Dean…Dean Petrado. I’m a Watcher.”
