He didn't give a damn about protecting Spike, but right now, incriminating Spike would mean incriminating himself too. "I know. We have to find them. It shouldn't be too hard. Angelus always knew how to find Spike. If I channel that skill, maybe it'll help us locate him." He wasn't exactly looking forward to finding the guy, especially if Wesley was with them. Spike had no qualms when it came to telling Beth about the extent of his relationship with Angel; what was to stop him from spilling the beans to Wes? The best Angel could hope for was that Wes would keep it to himself once he knew.
