Angel shook his head. "You don't owe me anything. None of you do. Hell, if you had taken over Wolfram & Hart, I probably wouldn't have trusted you either -- and your soul is permanently attached." He sighed, staring down at some papers on his desk. "And to be honest... I didn't accept the position because I thought I could do some good here. I had no idea if I could. I accepted it because I was backed into a corner and it was my only choice. If I said no, people would've died." He paused for a moment, then added quietly, "My son would've died."
