Ginny's eyes were red, and she was nursing a cup of tea, with Hagrid trying to comfort her. She had been sure that they would die when the place self-destructed, and her family would never know what had happened to her.
Her tears were gone now, and Hagrid simply looked stunned as Ginny read the notice to him.
They sat for more than an hour after reading it, deciding if they would take anything home with them, and Ginny agreed that it was a good idea. There were all sorts of robes and things in the Boutique that would come in handy, as well as shoes, coats, hats, scarves and that sort of thing. It wouldn't hurt to have them when she went back home, even if it wasn't winter at home right now. She had no idea how long she'd been gone.
Hagrid already knew he'd be taking fang, and his baby dragon, but also wanted to take a few keepsakes. McGonagall would be surprised when he appeared in her office out of nowhere after months away, holding a tiny dragon!
They would take their own respective cubes home, since Hagrid had arrived in Here months before Ginny had. Neither of them was sure if they would return home at the same point in time.
Ginny hugged Hagrid and kissed his cheek, then smiled.
"I'll see you soon."
"Yeh keep yerself safe till yeh get a hold o' yer cube."
Hagrid sniffled happily and watched as she jogged back toward the Residence, pleased to know she would be reunited with her family, soon. Then he went inside and gathered his things in a box, and lifted the dome off of the cube that had appeared on his table. A moment later, he, the box, Fang and the dragon he still hadn't named disappeared with a rush of silence.

Ginny had gathered quite a bit of baggage by the time she was ready to leave. She dragged the large sofa from her suite to the table where the cube sat under its dome, and loaded it all onto the cusions, including her school trunk and everything she had arrived with. She made sure she kept one hand on the sofa when she lifted the dome lid.
