"Hi Nick." Zoe said suddenly as she walked up from behind him. It had not been her intent on scaring him but it was something that could not be helped, he was staring too intently. "You know, I don't think anyone has ever actually achieved obtaining anything by staring at it." She said lightly as she glanced over his shoulder at the broom. "It is beautiful though, isn't it. Much sleeker looking than the last model. I heart it handles better too..." It was that was for sure. Though her father had just gotten her a new one last year so there was no use in her begging him for a new one so soon. Maybe if she actually landed the role as starting seeker this year instead of just the reserve spot.
"Are you going in?" Zoe asked as she tugged a wrinkle out of the pink tank top she had paired with her simple pair of shorts. It was completely last minute to be shopping for quidditch gear before the new term, but her gloves had ripped and she needed a new pair. This way she could get them partly broken in before going back to school. "I've got to get new gloves and such..." She said not really sure what else to day. They had classes together and bumped into each other in the library but they weren't exactly good friends. "It's an excellent chance to admire the broom from up close."
