Who: Nick and Zoe When: August 24th, Mid morning Where: Diagon Alley: Quality Quidditch Supplies What: Nick is finally buying a replacement broom Rating: TBD, Low Open/Closed: Open to whoever
After a great deal of repeated nagging and annoyance on his part, Nick's mother had finally accepted the inevitable. She would have to let him get a broom to replace the one that his cousin had broken. He was convinced it was his fantastic persuasive argument and not her getting fed up that finally had her handing over the Galleons that his cousin Barry had sent over. Regardless of how it happened, he was finally going to have a broom again and that was something for Nick to ecstatic about.
With money in hand, he was on his way to The Leaky Cauldron and stepping into Diagon Alley, a (almost) man on a mission. He wasn't going to leave without the best broom money could buy. Or rather, the best broom that his cousin's money and his savings combined could buy.
That was where Nick could be found mid morning on a Wednesday, staring intently in the window of Quality Quidditch Supplies, an intent look on his face. As if his stare alone would lower the price of the extremely expensive broom that was displayed in the window. His concentration was so great that he wouldn't have noticed his own father walking up to him, much less anyone he actually knew. A definite downside for Nick, as he was a prime target for a well placed jinx, or to be scared witless by a friend.
