Who: Diane Carter and Gregory Goyle When: Monday, August 22, 1997 Where: Diane's house and then Diagon Alley What: Getting their back to school things Rating/Status: Maybe caution for language/closed to all but Diane and Greg
Diane had spent about two hours Sunday night picking out the perfect outfit for her day with Greg. She wanted to look nice but not too nice and still be comfortable. She was careful to choose flats and not heels as it was very possible they were going to be doing a lot of walking. She was excited about the outing but also a little nervous. She had liked him for a while, but it wasn't like he was ever going to notice her. She was only fifteen. She'd be content with just hanging out with him. It was better than him snubbing her, right? And who knew what later on was going to bring. She was a pureblood and had the same family views he and his family did. She would eventually come to be a great asset to the Dark Lord, once she mastered her wand making skills and once she started producing extremely powerful wands for the Witches and Wizards who practiced Dark Magic. She'd have her own shop in Knockturn Alley and would fast become a useful part of their society. She grinned wickedly at the thought.
After dressing and fixing her hair and makeup to perfection, Diane made her way downstairs to the family room where her parents were both waiting. She sighed. Hopefully they wouldn't question Greg too much. They both knew him and his family. She didn't want to be embarrassed by them and certainly didn't want Greg to be uncomfortable in their presence. "Please," she started, looking more at her father than her mother. "Just let us go and have our day out. You know I'm safe with him and he's not going to do anything to me." She gave her dad a weary smile. "Oh, and I'm going to need some money." She then made her way to the sofa and waited for Greg to get there.
