"Well, I for one like rainy days. Maybe I will stay in and clean my flat." Penny said with a laugh. They both knew she wouldn't. It just wasn't who she was. "Rainy weather is best for shopping." She ordered a glass of wine before turning back to Patricia. It was best if she, for one, kept her drinking to a minimal. It got her in trouble last time.
"Ah, yes." Penny said keeping up with the conversation. "My grandparents are the same. They are especially entertained with the simplest spells." Which was alright with her because she found it hard sometimes to keep her family from demanding easy fixes to situations. "Though, I have to say it's hard to keep from doing everything for them with magic. I don't know... It just doesn't feel right sometimes." She was sure her friend knew how that went. There had to be some limits of what she could and couldn't do for her muggle family.
"We do!" She said happily with a grin loving the time she got to spend with her friend. "I was going to get a kitten but I'm not sure how Bells..." Her tiny Maltese puppy. "Would take it. She's so used to being an only child." Her dog really was like a child in her eyes. It sure needed enough attention. Other than that there was... boys. "And I need to stop letting boys play games with me." She had always been bad at saying no and putting her foot down. "So, that means you and I need a night out. Go looking for new boys."
