Patricia was still wearing her casual outfit she had worn to work that day. She had had time to change at home first, but decided she still looked good enough for drinks with her dearest friend, and she was still comfortable enough. She had only needed to freshen her hair and makeup slightly and spritz with her citrus spray. Patricia loved that light orange scent.
She sat at a table in the center of the Three Broomsticks and passed the time away watching the pleasant Witches and Wizards who were moving about the establishment. Not too long after she sat down, she spotted Penny coming her way and she smiled brightly. "You're not late!" She told her friend happily. "I've just only gotten here a few minutes ago." She waved over at the barmaid who she had told she was waiting to order till her friend got there and then looked back at Penny.
"The weather," she giggled. That was always what she was asked. She didn't mind though. It was her job and she was good at it. "It's going to be nice for now but I'm afraid were looking at some heavy rain by mid week." Patricia didn't mind the rain at all but she knew a lot of people complained about it. "At least here in Hogsmeade. It wont rain quite so heavily in the London area." She grinned and then ordered a pineapple margarita.
"I've been good. Work has been keeping me busy enough for the most part and then it's home to the dog and the cat. I've been visiting mum and dad pretty regular and Granny and Grampa Winters. They're my Muggle grandparents. They love to hear all about our world, you know." She knew her friend could relate to this as she was a Muggleborn Witch. Patricia was a halfblood whose mother was a Muggleborn and her father a half. She had the pleasure of having both Muggle and Wizarding Grandparents.
"We need to make sure you and I get to see each other on a more regular basis." She nodded buoyantly. "What have you been doing these days? How's work been?"
