Demelza nodded in agreement before looking away and sighing. There was no way to get out of this conversation without being completely honest and truthful. "I mean at first obviously I just needed some time to process it all, and I just felt like it was completely unexpected so I got kind of angry." She did her best to explain her feelings, wishing she hadn't finished all of her butterbeer. Her throat was suddenly going dry.
"But when we started talking again, I realized that I didn't really care about what was said because I missed you." The blonde paused to take a breath and looked down. "I still do." Her eyes lifted back up to find his. "I mean you were so vague with everything. I don't really even understand why we broke up. Was it something that I did? Something a said?" She frowned, doing her best to keep her composure.
