Glancing at his watch, Toad realised that some people might consider arriving some place forty five minutes ahead of time might be considered too early by some folks and frowned slightly. Closing the shop up hadn't taken as long as he'd expected and he'd flooed straight to the Leaky Cauldron after. It was only after he stepped out the grate that it dawned on him that sitting at a table and drinking alone for almost an hour might not be the best way to past time.
Which of course had led to him wandering the Alley, browsing the shop fronts and hoping to look through any shops that hadn't closed up quite yet. Summer was always so much busier but he was still surprised to see most of the stores in Diagon Alley weren't even close to closing for the night. Miniature firecrackers in the front display of Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes caught his attention and he grinned as he stopped for a moment to watch them glitter and pop. Toad tried to remember the last time he went in but after a moment of thinking he decided it didn't matter.
As soon as he let himself into the shop a tiny bell jingled overhead, giving the employees the obligatory warning of his presence. "Hullo," he greeted, smiling at the blond that promptly turned to greet him.
