Who: Geoff and Natalie When: August 15, 10pm-ish Where: A park near her house What: Sneaking out to watch the meteor shower Rating/Status: Low/Closed
Natalie flopped back on her bed listening to the radio that played softly into the background. It was some pop song she did not know the lyrics too. Then again, she did not know the lyrics to many songs. It came from spending her school years at Hogwarts and her summers in a gym training. Blah. Was there any thing in her life that would be normal? Natalie highly doubted it. Waiting for Geoff was making her impatient. There were only so many times she could straighten her already spotless room.
Though it was only 10:02 when she heard someone move outside her window it had felt like longer. Maybe that was because she was waiting, counting the minutes. Being cooped up in her house was starting to make her stir crazy. Natalie needed air, she needed to get out. She knew she was lucky to have a friend like Geoff that would break her out. That would go with her to stare at a bunch of shooting stars, meteors.
"You're late." Two minutes was still late, she teased gently. Springing to her feet she grabbed her sweatshirt and made to hit the light. After all, her parents thought she was getting ready for bed and then actually going to bed. Natalie knew they wouldn't check on her. She was the last person they'd would think would be sneaking out in the middle of the night with a boy. "But lets go before my parents decide they want to check on me for once."
