Who: Severus Snape & Livia Stroulger What: A run-in at the apothecary (Scene lottery: Inequality) Where: Slug & Jiggers Apothecary, Diagon Alley When: This morning Warnings/Rating: TBA
When he'd taught Potions, it had been Severus' practice to send his orders in by owl to the various suppliers he relied upon to keep his personal stores well-stocked. It had always taken several separate establishments, since he tended to need some rather obscure ingredients, and the post was simply more convenient than walking in on foot and waiting for some idiot shop boy to remember what Chenopodium Bonus Henricus looked like. Now that his subject had changed, however, his needs were ... simpler, in a way. There was nothing he needed for his current classes that he could order from anyone of good repute, so the few legitimate purchases he made came from the pleasantly efficient, if annoyingly bright, storefront at Slug & Jiggers.
He might have simply sent them an owl, as well, but last night he'd watched one of his longtime colleagues murdered, dismembered and eaten by a snake, so he rather thought getting out would be better than sitting at home and brooding.
So here he was, pushing his way through the crowds in the aisles without really looking at anyone, gleaning some satisfaction from the fact that they tended to pull away from him of their own accord. That was fine. He didn't want to see his future students outside of class any more than they did him.
