"If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you."
Jack actually decided to go to Colin's house and collect him. Creevey's mother did trust Jackson for more reasons than he could ever quite figure and that was fine by him. It was always a bit of a trick to get to Colin's because, being muggles, their fireplace wasn't set up to the Floo Network. So, most of the times that Sloper wanted to visit him he had to Floo into the fireplace of an old witch named Ms. Pearsly down the street. It wasn't really the best arrangement, as Ms. Pearsly had a little dog that seemed to have a taste for Jackson's blood, but the old witch didn't mind too much no matter what hours the boys came and went. She couldn't really hear that well which, Sloper reasoned, was why she didn't care.
Half kicking-off and half out running the little dog, Jack arrived at the Creevey residence, collected his best mate, and the two took the Pearsly chimney to Diagon Alley to wait outside the Leaky for Michael and Terry.
Sloper was a little bit worried about what Michael might think or say now that he knew about Colin and how Jack felt about him, but Ravenclaws were--in Jack's opinion--a lot that were good at keeping secrets and so he trusted that Corner would understand.
The ginger shoved his hands into his pockets and rocked back and forth on his feet, looking at Colin with a smile. "It's been a bit since I've seen you. How are you these days, yeah? How's your brother?"
