The Atrium of the Ministry of Magic was a hubbub of activity as people scurried to and fro, agitated by the bombs that had gone off earlier. Evacuation procedures were taking place and Aurors were spotted all around. The bombs that had gone off in the Minister's office not long ago had caused a stir, and it was feared that other bombs might've been sent to other departments the same way, so a full on investigation was taking place.
One of the bombs that had been delivered hadn't detonated and remained volatile on the desk it was dropped upon. Curse Breakers from Gringott's were being called in, specialists to dispel the curse, and it was Percy's assigned task to bring them to the offices when they arrived. Beside the bank of Entrance Floos, Percy nervously waited. His eldest brother was a Curse Breaker at Gringott's and he hadn't spoken to him in years. The prospect of interacting with Bill felt daunting, to say the least: he hadn't really spoken to any of his family members in such a long time and Percy wasn't sure how he was going to react or how Bill was going to react. When given the duty, Percy asked the wizard who had made the floo call to Gringott's to request anybody but Bill Weasley, however the call had already been made and the goblins were making the decision who they were going to send: disarming a bomb was more crucial than some family quarrel.
