Who: Walden Macnair and Percy Weasley When: Late hours of January 27th/28th Where: Ministry Offices What: Walden's declared open season on Weasleys Walden's still looking for retribution Status/Rating: Closed//High-ish for violence
As much as Walden hated to wear his Death Eater's mask, he knew it was a necessity tonight. Bearing that in mind, he pulled the stuffy hood over his head and made his way through the dark deserted corridors of the Ministry. It wasn't by mistake that Percy Weasley had been assigned to work late that night, it had been by his own design and another called in favor. This way there would be no witness around to see what he was about to do. Absently he fingered the white chess piece in his pocket. It was something that steadied his mind and allowed him to focus.
Silently, he slipped into Percy's office and watched the man work while his back was too him. This was too easy; like taking candy from a baby. He doubted Bill Weasley had gotten the message yet so he was going to send him another one. With a flick of his wand the door slammed shut and Walden took pleasure in seeing his intended victim jump.
When Percy's eyes fell on him, he stood there perfectly still wearing his death mask. There was no need for words because it was evident why he was there. There was very few reasons a Death Eater paid you a visit. Walden stood there unblinking for a moment before he walked over to the desk, pulling the tiny white figurine out of his pocket, and set it upon the desk with a soft clink. It was the knight.
Now it was Percy's turn to react before the game could really begin...
