Bill jumped at the sound of a knock on the door. With a chuckle at his own jumpiness, he hurried to open the door.
"Hello," Bill echoed, hating how awkward he felt around his brother. "No worries--I figured you would be a bit early." It fit with the Percy he remembered, at least.
He stepped back and gestured Percy into the apartment. "Sorry, dinner's not quite ready yet." He sat down on the couch and nodded an invitation to sit in the nearby chair. "Fleur won't be here." He had asked her to steer clear, just in case things went badly. "So, have you had as much paperwork resulting from the Ministry attacks as I have? I only just got caught up."
