ooc: <3 my depression is really bad lately :(
Julien watched Alfie watch his hand and considered that this had been a bad move and that he should pull away. The next thing he knew he'd been hooked and was being dragged in for a kiss that would brook no argument. After his momentary freeze his initial reaction was to kiss back, opening to Alfie's mouth and letting it all in, letting Alfie again control this out of everything.
He realised a second after that what was happening; his friend was clearly distressed and not gay (Marcus had told him that in no uncertain terms) and if he let this continue it would be as though he were taking advantage because, ultimately, he wanted to stay there, mouth up against Alfie's, his first kiss.
He pulled back gently but he didn't let Alfie's hand go, still clasped over the one that wasn't pulling him against Alfie's mouth. "It's okay." Was the first thing he said, panting slightly, trying to pretend that he wasn't as flushed as he felt, that his heart wasn't racing. "Alfie, you're upset, and I'm not going to hit you or anything stupid like that but this is... you can't be thinking clearly; I know you aren't gay. It wouldn't be right for me to let you keep going." He hoped that had covered all the bases, that Alfie didn't now think Julien had pulled away out of disgust, that he wasn't going to leave just because the other had grasped for the closest source of comfort.
