"Flying is the worst," he agreed with her. He hadn't fallen off the broom, but he still didn't like being in the air. There was something about the control that two feet on the ground held. He never could figure out the balance needed to effectively steer a broom.
"So then," he smiled at her noting that she was pulling her jacket tighter around her, "it's a date." His smile was rather broad as he took her earlier advice about never turning down the chance to have a date. Not that he wanted this date to end, but alas she had mentioned dinner and like any teenage boy, Kevin suddenly realized it had been a few hours since he ate.
"Shall I walk you to dinner?" he asked while making a gesture for her to go ahead and begin walking to the castle.
