Even though he was at Hogwarts Kevin still had a set of futball clothes in his foot locker. He'd donned a pair of wind pants and a long sleeve shirt under his windbreaker. Gloves on his hand and toboggan on his head he tucked the ball under his arm and headed out onto the grounds where Flissa had said to meet. He knew that playing full fledged in the snow could lead to some slipping and falling. He'd done that often enough when he was younger and they'd been at the park on the weekends when the indoor fields were closed. No matter how much he missed those days they wouldn't be playing that hard today.
If Kevin were honest with himself, since the start of second term he'd found himself wishing for those few days back at Smeltings when the most dangerous thing he faced was Martin. The boy had been a bit larger than Kevin, but he'd always been able to hold his own. Now Kevin knew there was a real possibility that he would end up facing things much worse. That was why moments like these were so important to him. They gave Kevin the opportunity to have things normal for a while.
"Ready to be dazed and amazed by the best futball teacher at Hogwarts?" he greeted Flissa hardly believing that she'd even agreed to meet up with him.
