Who: Lisa Turpin and Dean Thomas
What: Hanging out.
Where: Park, then who knows. Lunch at some muggle place?
When: Afternoon
Warnings/Rating: It's safe to say it's low.
Dean had woken up a bit earlier than he had expected the day that Lisa Turpin had decided on spending together. It was safe to say that he was eager on catching up with on her on just about everything. Even though there might not be anything exciting, it was always good to see a close friend during the summer. After Hogwarts let out for the holidays, there wasn't much to do with lack luster entertainment. He wasn't saying that his family was boring, especially since he adorned them to no end, but it would have been a change of pace to plan a vacation with them. With a good amount of siblings, it was less likely that they would be able to afford it. Dean understood, especially being the oldest of them all, but that didn't stop him from wanting more during the summer. And now with less than a month away from the final year beyond the walls of Hogwarts quickly approaching, it was starting to get interesting.
Go figure.
As much as he was looking forward to setting off some of the Weasley's fireworks much later into the night with Stephen, Dean couldn't put his finger on why he was more excited to spend time with Lisa. Both were fun. There was no doubt about it, but there was something so endearing about the Ravenclaw girl that he had been trying to spend time with her for a while now. It was more then giving her sugar quills and learning new words that he did not have knowledge of before she had made them known to everyone through her journal. He understood people got busy, especially during the holidays when there was considerably more free time on their hands. Never the less, Dean felt at ease around her as a whole, and she was a great friend to talk to all together.
It had taken him more then just a little while to get out of the house, so he thanked Merlin that the thought of leaving early entered his mind. His mum asking questions with siblings hanging all about as well. There were more then a few times that the Thomas household was a bit crazy, especially with the twins. Just the word twins had made him wonder if all look alike siblings were the same. Of course, there were the Weasley twins, but his brothers were not nearly as bad or creative. They were just a nuisance more often than not. It didn't stop him from caring about them as a whole though.
Dean had made his way to the nearest park by Lisa's home, which was the one that she suggested. Usually, he picked up girls directly at their door, like a gentleman, but it was her choice to meet up in a nearby location. It was perfectly okay this time around, but if their hang outs became more frequent, then he would be more keen on insisting on meeting her at the front of her door. Just as he made an appearance in the open area, Dean found an empty park bench to relax on. Of course, he was a few minutes early because he never let a woman wait for him in any situation, figuring that she would show up in the next handful of minutes with the bag of fresh sugar quills that he owed her for a couple of days in his hands.
