Where: Penny's Flat
What: A visit between friends

Penny spread her long legs out on the couch and idly watched her sleeping puppy. Bella would rather be out on a walk but Penny had decided not to take her out for one. With the Muggleborn registration happening tomorrow she wasn't sure if she should be out or hiding out at home. It wasn't like she would be hard to find if they wanted to find her. It made her think that maybe she really should consider moving into an Order safe house, but Penny kind of liked the fact that she had her own space. A place to spread out and relax that was silent if she needed it. If she had to give up her space she wasn't sure how she'd handle it. She had never had to live with another, a perk of being an only child.
In an attempt to busy herself, Penny flipped through the book on healing that was on her coffee table. It was boring. Cliqué stuff most healers should already be aquatinted with. What interested her more was the balance that was struck between Muggle medicine and magical healing. Penny knew there were perks to magic but there were other things that she felt that Muggle medicine was more equipped to deal with. Maybe it was just her and her heritage speaking. She really did just want to help people.
Upon hearing a knock on the door, Penny froze and stared at the door with a feeling of unease and dread. There was no telling who would be coming to visit her at this hour. Still, she found herself getting up and answering the door. When she saw it was just Kenny she smiled, opened the door, and let him in. "Hey!" She grinned at him. It had been far too long since they had seen each other, other than the occasional Order meeting, they had not spent any time together since she quit her job. "How have you been?" She said as she moved out of the door and let him inside out of the cold.
