Penny motioned over the waiter as she slipped into a corner booth overlooking the place. It was crowded, but not overly so. It was the perfect night for having drinks and relaxing. There had been so much bad vibes hanging in the air that it was a good thought. She knew Cho seemed to be as stressed out as she had, which was why they had agreed they needed a night out. It was a distraction of sorts from their lives, if even a temporary one.
Still, when the waiter came over she ordered herself a butterbeer to start with and let her blue eyes wonder the place taking in the odd assortment of people while she waited for Cho. Her style of dress had been casual but fancy enough for a night out; Penny had went with a dark pair of form fitting slacks paired with a grey and black sweater dress with a cute pair of booties. She had to say as much as she disliked the winter, there were some cute styles of clothing. Not to say she wouldn't rather be some where warm and tropical.
When Cho arrived, Penny waved her over. "I ordered you a drink, I hope you don't mind." She said as the waiter set the two drinks on the table in front of them. "I figured we would start out slow." Penny wasn't much a drinker so it was good enough for her. "I am not even going to ask you how work was as this is a night free of work and talk of work, agree?"
