Sloper looked at the bird in his boyfriend's hands and then at Colin. He'd only accepted the present from Nico in the first place because he thought the younger boy was a bit weird in the head. He was certainly talented and magically inclined--but Jack didn't understand him really, and wasn't at all interested. When Colin said it was an accident, Jack did believe him, but even if he'd known Creevey had crumpled it he wouldn't have particularly cared.
"Oh. Well, that's all right, it's song was a bit annoying anyway." He liked the fact that Colin had taken to laying around on his bed and he had made an effort to reposition some of the books beneath his mattress to better accommodate for the two of them. "So."
He moved over to the bed and sat down to take off his shoes before laying down next to the other boy. They hadn't actually done any more than kiss, and Jack was really all right with that. His bad experience with Michael Corner during the summer had left him in no hurry to rush into the trousers of anyone else, no matter how much he loved them.
