Walden crossed his arms as he absently listened to the ramblings of a child. How did he always get into this role? The one where he was always ended up talking to children but he supposed it was worth it in the end if it meant more supporters for the cause. They did need reliable ears in the school if only for information. They needed someone they could trust and not be the last to know, not that Walden was so concerned with the happenings of Hogwarts.
"Perhaps, maybe it is." Walden agreed as he rather watch than be the one causing trouble, but then again he did like to ruffle some feathers here and there. "There are times though when it's good to kick up a little trouble, right?" He needed to know that there was a possibility, if recruited, he would be willing to do what was needed when the time comes.
"Have you thought about what you're doing after school?" Not that Walden cared but they were in public and it was a round about way of finding out information without looking too obvious in front of other guest. Everyone knew where the Malfoy's alliance stood, or should stand, but they didn't brag about it in public so there was a need for discretion when talking in their home about certain things.
Walden glanced around the room so he wouldn't seem to obvious. There were certainly more interesting things going on around him. Parties weren't his thing but they could be interesting.
