Who Caradoc Dearborn and Aberforth Dumbledore What Getting into the Christmas spirits When December 19th Where Hog's Head; Hogsmeade Status Incomplete Rating Low
There weren't a lot of people that Caradoc had to visit around the holidays and he was fine with that. He didn't really have many friends of family connections and he considered himself blessed for it, really. As far as he was concerned, most people spent a lot of their vacation time doing things they didn't want to do but felt they had to. Wearing ugly sweaters, visiting creepy uncles...Christmas obligations were a waste of time.
Since the 70s, though, there was one Christmas tradition that Caradoc honoured every single year. His annual Getting-shitfaced-at-the-Hog's Head party. He and Aberforth had always been rather similar--and they'd always had more than enough things to complain mutually about. Right now, the fact that Albus Dumbledore was being a complete and utter moron was probably going to be high on both of their discussion lists.
Caradoc didn't understand what the point of the Order of the Phoenix even was right now. Albus was off somewhere telling no one anything and now three children, Harry Potter included, had gone off on some quest--or something--which everyone else seemed to be in the dark about. It didn't make sense and Caradoc wasn't the patient type.
He walked into the Hog's Head. He didn't really have a limp any more, all but completely recovered from his run-in with Rabastan, but he was obviously a bit tired and his muscles just sore or aching from his age and the amount of abuse he'd put his body through over the years.
