Twenty minutes.
Gideon couldn't help but laugh that Gemma actually thought that he was going to give her that long to get ready. It felt as though it had been a while since they had spent decent amount of tiem together, so it was his intention to get to her place as quickly as he possibly could. Closing the journal before him just as he scribbled out his last message to her, the bagpiper glanced down at his outfit and deemed it perfectly fine. He enjoyed getting suited up when he needed to for special events, but it wasn't a big deal for him to use that same thought on an every day sort of quality time. Besides, there was a part of him that actually liked when Gemma nitpicked the article of clothing that he decided to wear, especially since it was fit for comfort all the time.
Grabbing a pair of black shades and the nearest fedora hat that was just about to be nibbled on by Cassius, it wasn't likely that he would be recognized where they were set to go for the evening. However, being a rock star, there was no harm in extra protection in a simple disguise. "Now, you be a good boy for Heath. I know you hear me, don't turn your head away from me," he stated with a smile, knowing that Cassius would just end up staring at his fellow band mate for all the hours, which included a look that would appear that he was plotting something devious, as he spent out with the attractive blonde.
Gideon had only waited a few more seconds to inform Heath of the unexpected role of babysitting of the pet zebra for the rest of the night. Sometimes, he felt bad that he left his best mate home on certain occasions, but when it came to moments that were sort of a date, then there really wasn't no reason to feel bad. He fully expected his long time friend to do the same to him in return, even though it was less than likely. The last time that Heath seemingly got any was in Thailand. Far too long in Gideon's own opinion. It hadn't taken him much longer to apparate to Gemma's flat, wondering if she would notice that he actually did give her a few more minutes to get ready. Not a whole lot more though.
Just as Gideon had appeared at the door, he knocked on the door repeatedly without a intention of ceasing the action until Gemma arrived to answer the door. Of course, he knew how annoying that it would seem on the opposite end of the door, but that didn't stop him. "Oi, love. Open up," he called out, knowing that Gemma would hear him no matter what. There was no way that the two could ignore each other. Hell, Gideon could hardly resist her.
