Who: Natalie Fairbourne and Geoffrey Hooper When: Morning of December 10th Where: Various places at Hogwarts What: A walk/hanging out/friend time Rating/Status: Low-ish/Closed
Natalie ran her fingers through her hair until she gave up and pulled it into a high, sleek ponytail. It wasn't like Geoff was someone she needed to impress, even if she was that type of girl. It was part of what Natalie loved best about Geoff and being around him, she was free to be herself. There was an easy and lighthearted feel to their encounters, usually. Then again, Natalie wasn't one for drama and politics as she rather lay low and fly under the radar. Shyness did have it's upside.
"Morning." Natalie told Geoff as he meet her down in the common room. Early Saturday mornings was one of her favorite times around Hogwarts. Most slept in and it meant there was a little bit of peace to be found. "Breakfast?" Natalie asked as she offered Geoff up a couple pieces of toast she had wrapped up in a napkin. "Figured maybe you would want to avoid the drama of breakfast in the Great Hall." He had seemed like he just needed a break from all things and all people. Natalie was, in a way, honored that she had not been included in his list of people he wanted to avoid.
"Other than that, we can wonder wherever you like." Natalie told him with a smirk as she contemplated all the places they could go. It wasn't like she cared, she was happy just to get out. She had already completed her daily run around the grounds. Morning was one of her favorite times other than late at night.
"You know, there's a full lunar eclipse tonight." It was like Natalie to know all the Astronomy happenings. "It's sad we won't be able to see it from where we are. It's a full eclipse during what is deemed a red moon. It'll appear that way because of the way the Earth's shadow follow upon the moon before it's eclipsed by the shadow." Natalie said randomly as they walked. She was good at filling silence with tidbits of trivia. If Geoff wanted to talk to her about what was bothering him, he would. Natalie wasn't the type to pry as she rather he want to and feel comfortable telling her when he was ready.
