The feel of Jack’s lips against his temple was an unusual one, but in no way was it unwelcome. His eyes fluttered closed, and he wore a rather content smile plastered on his lips. It amused him slightly, the difference between Poppy’s lips and Jacks, though he couldn’t remember Poppy kissing his temple at any point in their past, and he hadn’t been brave enough to kiss Jack on the lips so the comparison wasn’t entirely accurate. Colin folded himself more into Jack, if it were at all possible, tilting his head up to press a kiss to the first piece of Jacks skin, which happened to be the underside of his chin. If Colin had stopped to think about it, he would have realized what an odd place it was to kiss someone, but as it was, they weren’t completely normal. Colin let his arm curl tighter around Jack.
“That was nice.” Colin said softly, speaking of the kiss to the temple. He really wasn’t sure what should be said about it, if anything, and so he turned his topic back to the broader subject at hand, as if he hadn’t wandered away from it at all. “Everything will go back to normal I think.”
