Who: Gideon Crumb and Penelope Clearwater When: Backdated to the evening of December 2nd Where: Muggle London (various places) What: A night out, craziness perhaps. Rating/Status: Closed/PG
Penny glanced up and down the street, instinctively, as she pulled her mittens out of her pocket. It was hard to imagine someone from the Ministry or such in a place like this, it was in the middle of Muggle London, but they couldn't be entirely sure. With all the things happening it was easy to fall into that paranoid state even though it was supposed to be a fun evening, and it had been for the most part. Dinner had been enjoyable and Penny had to admit it was fun to be in Muggle London; it was as part of her life as the wizarding world as she was a muggleborn.
The air was crisp and honestly, it was Penny's favorite type of weather as she didn't mind the cold. It was better than the really warm weather of summer and who didn't like a good chance to snuggle on a cold night?
"Where to next?" Penny asked as she turned and and looked at Gideon with questioning blue eyes. "I know you don't want to go shopping..." She told him with a smirk. That was a girl thing and honestly it wasn't something she liked to do unless they were in a bookstore; that was the Ravenclaw in her. "Is it strange to come out into Muggle London?" She asked him, switching gears a little bit as the strolled down the street. It was the first chance she had gotten so far to look at all the Christmas decorations. "You know be in a place where you don't have fan girls bombarding you at every turn?" It was something that interested her because she wasn't famous, she didn't have to worry about getting a moment just to herself. She figured it was something you got used to though.
Penny let her eyes wonder to the store fronts; stores that were littered with strings of twinkling lights, garland, glittery bulbs, and Christmas trees. It was easy to get lost in the beauty of the season. Now all they needed a dusting of snow to complete the Christmas feel of things. It was not something she was sure she was ready for since her parents weren't going to be in town. There was a freedom too it but she hadn't discovered that part of it yet.
"How's Cassius?" Penny asked more or less to break the silence that had settled comfortably between them.
