It wasn't often that Harold invited friends from school home to Bristol. Bristol was where he'd grown up, where he'd attended Muggle primary school, and he didn't have the best memories associated with the people there. But somehow, he'd offered to take a girl from Hogwarts out on his sailboat. (Well, his and his Dad's, but for all intents and purposes, today it would just be his sailboat.) Harold had been sailing for years, ever since he was nine, and he'd always wanted to take a girl along with him. Girls thought it was romantic. Maybe he could be like that bloke in Titanic - Harold's pretty sure he got shagged a lot, before he died. One could only hope.
He'd told Bex how to find him, and said he'd be down at the pier at eleven, getting the boat ready for them. Conditions were good for sailing, he was happy to note - sunny with a few clouds, a decent breeze, no giant swells. Granted, this was Bristol and that could change in a second, but so far so good. He was moving around the boat, coiling ropes and checking buoys, when he spotted her at the very far end of the dock. He moved to the boat's port side, which was resting against the dock, and waved her over.
