Who Cat Max & Elliot Stebbins What Puppy Day Care When Monday evening Where Catherine's home Status/Rating Closed/Incomplete/???
Catherine's flat was on Harrow Place, not far from the Aldgate East Underground station, in the London borough of Whitechapel. It was by no means the idea location for a pet dog, but she didn't care because she felt like taking the puppy for a few days would score something positive for her karma (if she believed) and at the very least, she could make herself feel better with this 'random act of kindness'.
She certainly was the type to invite strange men into her home, not because she was overly trusting, but because she knew she was more than capable of fending for herself--and besides that, Elliot had really seemed like a charming man, and a father, and she appreciated that a great deal. She admired anyone who wanted to try and make things easier for their children, though she really did hope that no one claimed the dog so that his kids could.
Cat didn't know if Elliot would be expecting dinner or not, so she ordered in a few vegetarian Thai take away dishes that, if he hadn't eaten, she'd simply store for her lunches during the week. She liked being prepared for every possibility (which was why she'd also taken the time to change the sheets on her bed.)
While she waited for her desk to arrive, she lit a few sticks of 'musk' incense and sat on her sofa, cross-legged, with a mug of hot Bao Hao Yin Zhen in one hand and a musty old book in the other.
