Who: Ken Towler, Lee Jordan When: Friday, the 25th. Where: Ken's place in London. What: Lee draws the straw to tell Kenny about the Order. Rating: TBD, low probably. Open/Closed: Closed
Lee hadn't actually let Ken know ahead of time. He'd meant to, but then he'd gotten distracted working on something for the broadcast next week, and trying to convince the bloke who ran the Chinese food place down the street to open up a tab for him when he was between paychecks. (Which hadn't worked, but he'd given it a good go.)
So he hadn't gotten around to the bit where he talked to Ken and told him he was popping by. And he couldn't actually bring food as he'd planned either, so it was roundabout nine when Lee showed up at Ken's door, empty handed but with a wide grin. "Sorry I'm late, Kenny. Or I would have been, if I'd told you I was coming over. Sorry about that, too." Ken was chronically easy-going, usually, and Lee and the rest of their friends might tend to take advantage of that, now and then.
"Wanted to have a chat with you though, if you've got the time? Don't have a bird over, waiting on you naked or anything, yeah?" Unlikely, but you never knew.
