Ever since the change in command at the Ministry Cho had been feeling a bit uneasy. She was grateful that her family had returned to China and that her branch of the Department didn't really experience too much turmoil. She knew that somewhere in the depths of control that Death Eaters were running the show but that had not become a daily reality in her office as of yet.
That knowledge in hand, Cho had not spoken to Marietta much lately seeing as her friend seemed to blindly support the Ministry. She had caught bits and pieces of concern from her fellow DA members and noted that the numbers at Hogwarts seem to have been growing by leaps and bounds. Or at least there were DA hexes popping up from individuals she didn't remember as DA members. Even so, her real motivation was Cedric. She knew he had been killed at You-Know-Who's demand. There was no way she would ever bow down and willingly do the bidding of his minions. Cedric's memory was too precious for her to taint in that manner. However, she did not have the protection of the DA readily available and while she'd heard rumors about the Order of the Phoenix she didn't know anyone that professed to membership within the group.
Cho was rather grateful that this week had gone by smoothly. She'd gotten word that Luna had indeed heard from her father. Cho had answered her as if things were business as usual. She had no clue where to find Mr. Lovegood, but she had felt that the offer she made her friend was the best she could do to help. Now that she'd completed her assignment and still had the afternoon to muddle through Cho had begun working on rune puzzles for the Quibbler, not that anyone who saw what she was doing would know that was who her work was intended for.
A few moments later, there was a knock on the door of the office she shared with two other interpreters, both of which were in the library for the day. With a sigh she stood and walked across to open the door. "May I help you?" she inquired of the individual standing there whom she did not recognize.
