"I don't ever expect you to be a gentleman, Severus, and so I'm always just a touch surprised when you prove to be." She wrapped both of her hands around the hot cider she had in front of her and looked at Severus with a very faint smile and she considered the fact that, once again, he'd proven to be more handsome in her memory than he was now.
The Broomsticks was warm though, and she sat close enough to the fire that she didn't really need the coat at all and would probably be warm enough in a few minutes, but that wasn't the point. She wanted his coat now because he implied that he wouldn't give it to her and she hated the very idea of being denied anything--especially by Severus. Who was he, after all, to say no?
