There was no major rush, no hurry to find shelter or throw his cloak hood up over his head to hide his features. Rabastan Lestrange stood in Diagon Alley and just looked about, surveying the bustling crowd that seemed to pause only for a moment at his arrival. Then, quietly, those who were hurrying past gave him a bit of a birth, looking at his face but glancing away quickly without commenting. No one called for an auror and Rabastan took an easy step, not bothering to change his casual demeaner in any way. He moved another few steps and the sign, Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions, caught his eye. After an easy step inside, he was done with his business, finding a few suitable robes in a deep rich black that he had the shop witch forward to a Master Theo Nott, with no return address. He also selected a number of cashmere green scarves, in the Slytherin House colors, and a good wool black coat that looked about the right size for Theo, with a black fur collar. He signed for the bill and then stepped out into the growing dark, feeling refreshed and revived.
And now for some atmosphere and a regular bar drink...as myself, he thought to himself as he let his feet lead him down the street, towards the doors that led into the Leaky Cauldron. Rabastan was relaxed but ready for some sort of attack; he relished the idea of an open battle, and dragging in the new aurors. The thought even made him grin like an idiot.
