He gave a quick nod, not really wanting to dwell on what was going on between Wayne and Sally-Anne. Ayers moved along steadily, not taking huge steps to make it easier for her to sort of stroll next to him as they made their way out into the courtyard, heading towards the gate.
"I miss hanging out with you. I know I was in a bit of a mood there for a bit," and he paused, "But I feel more myself now," he said. And even as he said that, he had to frown slightly, pondering why he felt so much more normal, "I sent an owl to my folks but I haven't got any response back yet. I'm not sure what that means, but I can only hope that no news is good news, right?"
