Minerva looked up at the lady, only slightly surprised. She had expected something like this. Though she had come alone it did not mean she did not tell anyone about the meeting. Naturally, she had told Poppy about it. She knew that it could potentially be a bad idea but Minerva had to at least hear the man out. That and she was pretty sure she could take Igor in a duel if she had to, but she wasn't sure that it would come to that. You didn't invite anyone to talk if you wanted to do something dark to them.
Minerva finished her tea before walking upstairs. She figured she would give plenty of time to pass before she joined as she deemed it was polite; that and she didn't want to interrupt anything. She still did not know what she was walking into. So, she knocked, waited a moment and then let herself into the room with her hand still on her wand.
"Karkaroff?" Minerva said softly as she glanced around the room, taking notes on it's construction. All possible stuff that could come in handy if the situation did turn out bad. "You wanted to talk?"
