Fleur sat there for a moment staring blanket out the window as she twirled the coffee cup in her hands. The liquid in the cup was probably cold as she hadn't touched it at all since she'd been sitting there. It had been something to do. A failed attempted to keep her mind off the happenings of the day and the weekend. Fleur was still reeling from the owl she had gotten this morning.
A soft sigh escaped her lips as she twirled the cup once more. Absently she pulled her hair over her shoulder and let it hang there for a moment, not giving the thought that in such a position it no longer hid the bruises on her neck. Then again, the events of the weekend were only a vague memory when it compared to maybe being sent back to France. Honestly, a year ago Fleur would have been happy to have a legit reason to go home. Now, it was the last thing she wanted. The mere thought of it broke her heart. She was not sure she could function a day without Bill; she had gotten used to him being there. There was no one she loved more than Bill. Something had to be out there that they could do to solve all this problem. Maybe she should have watching her tongue the other day but Fleur didn't think she said anything that bad.
It took her a long moment before she even realized Alexander had sat down any where near her. Fleur found herself wondering how her day could get any worse. There was no energy or will on her part left for arguing with him today. "What do you want?" Fleur asked him bluntly as she brought her eyes up to meet his own. Normally she was more civil than that but she really didn't care about her manners when she was trying to figure out how to keep her visa status intact. Fleur brushed a strand of hair out of her eyes as she awaited an answer.
