Dennis' usual reaction to everything was to stare blankly and be quiet, but he was fighting against that so he could be helpful. He hoped he was being helpful. He peered up at Jimmy quietly for a moment, forcibly not wrinkling his nose at the sadness in Jimmy's eyes. He didn't like seeing Jimmy sad, but no one could be happy all the time. Especially not now.
"I know we will be. I won't let anything bad happen to Colin and he'll do the same for me. I know he will." No one got as much blind trust and loyalty from him as Colin did. Jimmy was been working his way up there, though.
He smiled a little at the way Jimmy's fingers fidgeted with his. It was funny the sorts of things he could see in fidgeting now. Nat was always the one who understood what he meant when he fidgeted. He leaned against him a little, letting out a small breath. "I still want to be with you, too." Dennis had a feeling that he would actually miss the physical aspect of it, but he would deal with it if he had to...somehow. "If you have to go, we'll just make use of the time we have now."
