Who: Contessa Avery & Alexander Greengrass III What: Meeting Over Dinner When: Backdated, Nov 4th Where: Contessa's place Rating: Lowish? Status: Incomplete
Contessa sat in her kitchen, waiting for Alexander to come over. She'd promised him dinner for his birthday and it was only a couple days late. She had laid out a fine dinner of filet mignons, fresh sauteed veggies, roast potatoes and fresh salad. She had a bottle of expensive red on the table, as well. She was sorry she had missed his birthday but hadn't wanted to bother him on it, either. She was dressed nicely, but simply - in a long cream colored dress, with matching heels, and a little bit of jewelry. Her hair was up in a fashionable bun at the nape of her neck, with a crystal pin holding it in place. The candles were lit in the room, giving it a warm glow.
The house was much different than the last time he had seen it. There were objects that showed life here - coats hanging, shoes neatly organized by the front door, a couple of pieces of artwork on the walls and fresh flowers in vases and displays strewn about. It was much warmer, and comfortable than it had been last time. She rose when he knocked and opened the door for him. "I'm glad you could come." she said with a genuine smile on her face. "I've missed seeing you at work, lately!" she was also being honest. "Come in, get comfortable." she moved out of the way for him.
