Who Remus Lupin and Rolf Scamander What Discussing theories...and then some When Friday Where A room at the Three Broomsticks Status Probably Highish
He'd told John that he would be home that night because he'd fully intended to be. He'd simply taken a room at the Three Broomsticks so that he and Remus could finally have some privacy. They'd only ever met in public before and that meant Rolf had to limit himself to what he could say. Now, with the promise that there would be no one to overhear them, he felt much more comfortable.
He'd already arranged everything in wait for Remus' arrival, including a few bottles of wine to help put the poor werewolf's mind at ease. It was going to be a complicated theory that he put forth tonight and he wanted Remus to be as receptive as possible. Wine always came in handy with that kind of thing. It simply brought guards down and Rolf hoped it would open Lupin up just a little bit more.
The naturalist hadn't mentioned to Lupin the fact that he'd been attacked during the last full moon, because when they'd met last he'd spoken so highly of the group of werewolves that he'd encountered in Black Pool. The last thing he wanted to do was taint their reputations, and his recent exchange of letters with Jonathan St. Clair made him feel, even more, like he'd made the right choice.
Scamander helped himself to a couple glasses of wine while he waited. This afternoon would certainly prove to be interesting, to say the least.
