Unlike his younger sister, Alexander wasn't for an all out party for his birthday. Those years were gone, despite the fact that he did miss the massive amount of presents. However, his parents had other ideas. A few close acquaintances had been invited over for the sake of throwing something just for appearances. He had unwantedly mingled with the guests for a little while, unsure of the exact time span before realizing that the last thing he wanted was to spend the rest of his birthday within the Estate. As much as he appreciated his parents presenting a type of party for his honor, it didn't compare spending two days within Greece with Catriona.
Alexander had only taken a few more minutes to excuse himself for a short while to grab a hold of his jacket and head out the door, including notifying the house elf that had spotted him not to reveal that he had left the home for a good couple of hours.
It had only taken him a few more minutes to apparate to Diagon Alley, pulling his jacket out a bit straighter. Alexander thought it would be best to treat himself to a birthday gift. Once he found something that interested him a bit, then he would head over to a certain blonde's home for a bit of her company. Nothing was going to happen, but she would welcome him in no matter what. Even though there were times that Alexander wondered if Catriona enjoyed his company or just put up with him. Either way, he was grateful for the woman all together. There was no question about that notion either.
Just as he glanced into the windows of first couple of shops, it felt as though there had been a pair of eyes landing upon him. The idea of a certain male Death Eater had taken up stalking him once again had entered his mind. It didn't matter that a couple of weeks had passed along without a word, which was a notion that Alexander had been grateful for. No doubt about that. However, he could have picked up that old habit as well. It had taken him only a few more minutes to shake his head. There was nothing in the darkness, even though the thought wasn't enough for him to not take a few seconds to glance behind him before heading down the path to Knockturn Alley.
