Fleur simply shrugged her shoulders at Alexander's request. Truth was if she knew nicknames irritated him at least a little bit, she would probably use it any chance she got just to get a rise out of him. Still she would have to remember to watch what she said, especially in English, because she really didn't want anyone to get the wrong idea about whatever it was between them. Fleur was happy with how things were right now so there was no need to go stirring up things and making life any more difficult that it was presently.
The idea of wearing a costume of sorts to create chaos wasn't a new idea to her, wasn't it what the Death Eaters did? There were several examples she could think of but it didn't seem like a good choice of topic of conversation in public and not really some where she wanted to go any how. The talk of Halloween made her think of her own French holiday she had to go home the next day to celebrate and how much she detested it. For several moments she sat there silently dreading La Toussaint and everything that went with it. It meant walking around and spending most of the day in the one place she rather not, a cemetery. The mere thought was enough to unnerve her and she looked away for a moment and sipped her water recollecting her thoughts and composure.
On top of that Fleur was sure that her trip would be drama filled just for the sake her parents were going to be there and so was Bill; because that had worked so well the last time for them. Strangely, she wasn't sure why she thought of it, but she was pretty sure her parents would rather like Alexander for some odd reason. Sure they would have some disagreements on certain ideas and concepts but Fleur had a strange notion her father would like him. Her father didn't like anyone so she was not sure why he'd like Alexander, but something told her he would.
"Perhaps," Fleur told him as she reined in her thoughts from their current digression and back to the conversation at hand. Her choice of dress had simply been for function not impressing, that and it was completely unreasonable to work in a fancy dress. That and she had wanted something bright and cheery before she had to spend three days in her all black finery. "When you 'ave to spend three days dressed up and in black, 'ou would want to wear something comfortable too the day before." She wasn't patronizing him just making conversation to pass the time while she waited for Bill.
"Πώς ήταν το ταξίδι σας προς Ελλάδα?" Fleur asked Alexander offhandedly. If it had meant to be a secret he had done a bad job at keeping it secret because she had heard someone whispering about it last week. Unlike her Spanish and Italian, which she had learned as a young child, Fleur's Greek was slightly accented as to be expected with someone that wasn't a native Greek speaker. It was not to say her Greek wasn't good, just it would never sound as native off her tongue as her other languages. It had not been on her parents list to teach her as a child but simply one she had asked to learn. So, her parents had gotten her a tutor during summer breaks and she had learned it. "Ακούω ότι είναι όμορφα εκεί αυτή την εποχή του χρόνου." It had been a few years since she had visited Greece herself.
