Thread: Adrielle and Lee
WHO: Adrielle Capper and Lee Jordan
WHAT: Apartment building shenanigans
WHERE: The very crappy apartment building where they both live.
WHEN: Super late Sunday Night/early Monday morning
STATUS: Incomplete
RATING: Not high
With the performance of The Fountain of Fair Fortune currently in production Adrielle simply didn't have the time to think about the small, crappy, cramped flat she'd found herself. Sure, there might have been a bit of denial thrown in there.
If you don't think about it, obviously it's not real.
Besides it wasn't like she'd admit to anyone her current living conditions.
She didn't complain and she didn't take charity.
And it was good fortune that her days were so busy that she did tend to just pass out after. She didn't get a chance to think about which charms she needed to make this place at least a little cozy.
Tonight was like most nights. She conked out soon after arriving home into a deep sleep. It was a good sleep until she felt something brush against her leg. In her sleep state she simply kicked. She didn't actually full awaken until she felt something climb up her torso. Her eyes flew open to be met with the eyes of a rat laying on her chest and staring at her.
For a fraction of a second there was a complete pause before she let out a earsplitting scream and jumped out of bed brushing herself off everywhere. She didn't see where the rat scampered off to, but she was having trouble catching her breath from her fright.
She wasn't sure what made her run out of her flat and start pounding on the door of her neighbor, but she figured: A.) He'd lived there longer. And B.) He was the only person in this building she even remotely knew, and she was terminally unimpressed with her other neighbors.
So there she was, and she hadn't even bothered with shoes or a dressing gown.
To hell with propriety. There was a rat!
