It had been a good few weeks. Eric still felt as if there were work to be done, as a team, but they had won their first two games, and their practices had only been getting stronger, so he was looking forward to the rest of the season. He still felt a little disconnected from his teammates, but he had expected nothing less. He was new not only to the team, but to the League, and knew it would take time. It helped having Krum as well, since he was not the only newcomer.
He was, for the most part, still not widely recognized on sight in London, which was something Eric, never exactly comfortable with press, was grateful for. When he made his way into the Leaky, no one seemed to pay any attention. He was a bit surprised that Lynch, much more well known here, was standing by the bar, unmolested by fans, but perhaps the British fans were just more polite than those in France, he decided.
He didn't bother taking his long coat off, since they had been planning a tour, not to sit for drinks, walking over to greet Aidan with a brief smile. "Am I late? Forgive me," he offered. He wasn't, but it seemed the polite thing to say when you were the last to arrive.
