Troy hadn't actually meant to go to a show with a stranger. He didn't want to make her feel like she had to offer the ticket to him if he just commented, but she did and he accepted because he didn't know what else he could have done. Not that he minded, he loved meeting new people. He distantly (very distantly) remembered Leanne from Hogwarts but it was hazy at best. She was a few years younger than he was and the truth was it was hard to remember anyone who wasn't in his year or a prefect or on a Quidditch team.
He couldn't even remember what house she was in.
It didn't matter though, not really, the castle was huge and he met a lot of people he didn't know at school later in life only to discovered that their years blended together some. And running in different social groups and years could help facilitate conversation so that was nice.
Troy glanced at the mirror one final time before leaving his loft. It had been a long time since he had been out without wearing a suit and it felt nice to wear a casual gray t-shirt, dark blue jeans, and a brown jacket. Definitely a lot less stuffy. He was just afraid he was underdressed, oh well, if he was he could just pop back home really quickly and change. No big deal.
Setting his hat right, Troy spun on his feet and disappeared with a small pop.
