The charm was out of her mouth and the pumpkin cookies froze where they hung in the air as she turned towards the man she'd just ran into. Her expression opened in surprise at who it was, and then changed more as she realized that he didn't recognize her, "I'm sorry. I didn't see you," she said, as she looked about for the tray which has somehow managed to vanish down the hall, her foot stinging slightly.
Audrey stood in front of Percy, surrounded by floating pumpkin cookies, and she thought it must have looked quite ridiculous to anyone who walked by, "I..I am sorry, but I have to save these cookies. Do you see the tray, please?" she asked, and she smiled, and then realized that Percy couldn't see her smile. That made her almost smile bigger, and she found herself grinning more, even as she realized that her foot was beginning to hurt more, "Oh dear, my foot doesn't seem too well off, but I have to get these cookies out there," and after a moment she added, "I'm only glad that they can't talk. I expect that they would be giving me a few choice words," she said, as she pointed to one that had a funny face on its surface-it was sticking out its tongue at her!
