Who: Ron Weasley, Jimmy Peakes When: Backdated to during Hogsmeade Saturday. Where: Hogsmeade, pulled off near the Shrieking Shack. What: Ron explains a few things. Rating: Low Open/Closed: Closed
Ron had walked in with Harry and Hermione earlier. He was pretty sure he and Harry's heads could have caught on fire and Hermione wouldn't have noticed though. Which was bloody annoying. He'd buggered off once she'd gone to meet up with Krum, refraining from complaining about him or claiming he might be a secret murderer. (He'd hung about with Karkaroff, Ron still felt that was damning, and no, it had nothing to do with being jealous no matter what Hermione said.)
He'd knocked about for a while, checking in at Sirius' shop and having a good snicker at the miniature version of Harry's uncle hanging about. He'd run into Peakes there though, and while he'd tried to put the younger boy off again, he was obviously pretty curious. Ron didn't actually have much else that needed doing, so after a while he pulled Jimmy aside, away from the crowds and lurking Aurors. He cast a quick silencing charm, just so the conversation wouldn't be overheard. "I can explain better later. Or probably someone else can." Since Ron wasn't first choice when it came to giving someone a run down of anything, usually.
"But for now - you remember when Umbridge was in charge, and no one could actually practice any magic in school?" Ron asked.
